Creative Blog Contributors

We are seeking contributing blog writers to create in our blog space. Subjects include but are not limited to: creative pursuits & business, travel, poetry, film, arts education, décor, website design, SEO, freelancing, languages, music… pretty much anything that might fall into the realm of our growing online art and creative business!

Details

Experience
You do not need to have previous experience specifically as a blogger or blog writer to propose your ideas and write with us. You DO need to have excellent writing skills and a passion for sharing your subject or proposed idea. It would be very helpful if you are interested in the creative realms, but again, it is not completely necessary. You do not need to provide your own blog photos if you are not a photographer or do not have the photos to go with your specific blog ready. We can gladly provide photos to enhance your blog (see more below).

Who is this space for?
Anyone and everyone with a passion for their subject. You do not need to be a professional or even self-titled creative or artist to write with us!

Two Types of Blog Writer Applications
Honorary Contributor: If you are interested in this opportunity as a creative looking for an online space to share your thoughts and ideas, but do not need or seek compensation at this time, please consider applying as an “Honorary Contributor”. As an honorary contributor, you will also have much more personal freedom in your writing, less edits by our team to fit the Avery Ches Fine Art brand and the full go ahead to write as your heart desires, sharing ideas, opinions, etc.

Exchange Contributor: If you are seeking compensation, we do offer a flat rate for completed and approved blogs (see below); for those wishing to be paid for your contribution please apply as an “Exchange Contributor”. At this time we are only offering compensation for prompted blog subjects from our team - these include more technical, practically oriented subjects such as “Fine Art Paper Sizes for Printers in Europe” OR subjects proposed by you which we find could fit our brand. Please consider well in which application type you will create your best work and that will best benefit us both. For either type, please submit blogs that lay out your creativity and ideas in full, with all your beautiful details. There is no minimum word count at this time although we have a loose goal of around 750 - 1000 and up. We want your best work and creative passion to show at your highest level, not affected by strict word counts that limit your flow.

How to Apply
Send an email to averychesfineart@gmail.com with your blog ideas or proposal (even your initial, but thoughtful, ideas are fine - we still want to hear from you). Please include Honorary Contributor or Exchange Contributor in the subject line with your name. If you are submitting an proposal for a compensating blog, please only submit the ideas first (not your full outline) as we want to confirm with you whether this will be a topic we can compensate at this time.

Submitting Your Draft (Honorary)
For honorary writers, you do not need to submit a detailed outline or plan, a first draft will do. Once we have approved the blog, you can submit a final draft which we will format to our website. We reserve the right to reject any text that does not fit our brand as we are first and foremost an art creative business with an important value for beauty and aesthetic cohesiveness. (This being said, we do value diverse, creative minds and souls! We want to collaborate while still guarding the Avery Ches Fine Art theme throughout.)

Submitting Your Draft (Compensated)
For approved blog topics, please first send a detailed draft outline of how you will write your topic. Once approved, we hold you to respect this outline in the final draft for publication. (For questions, about this process, we are happy to discuss more in depth.) As stated above, we reserve the right to reject any text that does not fit our brand as we are first and foremost an art creative business.

Compensation
At this time, the compensation for a complete blog of around 750 - 1000 words (not strict), with reviewed and accepted photos or added photos by our team, is 20 euro or the equivalent in dollars. Money can be transferred by Venmo (preferred for Americans) or direct bank transfer (France, Europe) or PayPal (not preferred). This price is guaranteed to rise as we grow together.

Copyright and Credit
All content written and photographed by you is copyright to you as the contributing creator. You will be added as a contributing writer to our blog space so that your name is credited on the blog. If you would like further details and accreditation please include this in the bottom of your written blog as part of your text. Any photos added by Avery Ches Fine Art will remain copywritten to us. Our blog will feature google ads throughout. Under your contract at this time, you will not receive any compensation from google ads on the blog. If you are affiliated with other companies and would like to include affiliate links, Avery Ches Fine Art reserves the right to 50% of any revenue generated from these links.
