These sketches were inspired by the Sainte-Victoire Mountain in Aix-en-Provence, France.

Material Note: These are charcoal sketches on brown mat paper. I spray them with fine art adhesive but there will still be some slight risk of smudging when they are mailed. This is part of the work! As they are a loose style, it should not affect the overall quality.

Framing Note: Please be attentive when taking these to frame shops or framing them yourself as the chalk should not rest directly on glass as it’s likely the chalk will be smudged by the glass.

If choosing to have me frame these for you, the risk of smudging will be much reduced! I will be in touch about your framing options - I usually frame in plain white or off-white mat with a light brown, minimal wood frame.
