The Luynes Collection: Haze + Horizon Color Block

What do I mean by “Color Block”?
Color Block simply refers to my stylistic choice of creating landscapes, dreamscapes, and abstract art using only “blocks” or sections of colors - in this case, with high quality, fine art chalk pastels.

In studying, carefully choosing and falling in love with each pigment, I use this technique to focus, without distraction, on the feeling, texture and harmony of each color - how they compliment, move and co-create together - evoking distant, earth-centric, and profound yet dreamlike horizons.

This original chalk pastel on heavy set fine art mat paper comes framed in light wood, with an off-white, acid-free, fine art mat. This piece is traditionally matted, meaning the mat rests on top of the edge of the piece, giving it a clear, light and peaceful air.
